We were just passing through. Pizza was really good. Crust was perfect. Had anti pasta salad. Probably the best we've had. Service was excellent. Drinks were NEVER empty. Would definitely do this again.

First of all disregard the yelp directions. Once you are off the 85 on 11 N. go 3 miles. The restaurant is on the left. We had a great antipasto salad. The small was large enough for two of us to share. We then had a small Spuds McKenzie ..... Potatoes bacon and cheese and sour cream... Yum! Go there if you can!

On a road trip to North Carolina and we were looking for a local eatery with great reviews. This fit the bill and didn't let us down. We had the veggie pizza, the Carolina special calzone, and the sc calzone. All the ingredients were fresh and great tasting. There were so many choices of subs, salads, wings and pizzas well be stopping back through to try some different options.

The pizza is great, just like the other reviews said: the crust is probably the best ever! My younger son who is not a big fan of pizza crust but he ate most of his pizza crust this time!

My wife and I split a small Greek salad and a medium Tree Hugger pizza. Our girls split a spaghetti with meatballs that came with a house salad and two ample pieces of garlic bread. Their beer menu is good with Sweetwater and Terrapin options. Don't believe there were any SC beers which would have been nice or even something from the Asheville area. Service was good and the environment was very comfortable. Oh and we didn't partake but they do have maybe 8 flavors of Breyer's ice cream. If you're in the area and need a meal or just want a break from a long drive, stop in, they'll treat you right.

Read the great reviews for this pizza place in South Carolina. So we had to try it, being the pizza lovers that we are and how close it was to where we live on the lake. Wow great recommendation, we have been twice now and plan to go back for more. Thank you to all the yelpers for the great advice and reviews. Spot on, on how good this place is. For those of you who want a great pizza, give this place a try, you won't regret it. Oh and the beer is cold and served in cold mugs as well, another plus for us.

Excellent pizza & subs! Sometimes you have live entertainment coming from the kitchen in the form of "sing along/scaryoke" but it actually sounds good! Great decor, good beer selection. Stuffed portobello shroom is awesome as well!

I had " carolina legend pizza". It is very good. I like the crust. It is not too thick and not too thin. Ingredients are fresh. You can enjoy Gourmet pizza here. Yes in south carolina. Service is great!! People are friendly. I recommend this place to people who frequently travel from Atlanta to South Carolina or people who live near Lake Hartwell in SC and GA. Enjoy!!

My wife and I occasionally borrow a cabin nearby, right at the GA/SC border. Just a couple of miles West of I-85, we kept passing this little, unassuming place situated by a gas station and a liquor store (possibly the only one within a twenty mile radius) which is never open. The curious thing is that when Carolina Pizza is open, the parking lot is never less than half a full. More often than not, there are cars on the grass and next to the road and around the back of the building. It is big enough to hold a bunch of fans during a Georgia-Clemson game (don't know that I should have worn red that night) and small enough that diners are not left feeling anonymous or neglected. For our tastes, the staff struck the perfect balance of being professional, deferential and sassy. The smells are divine, the people friendly in this little town, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. That being said, I need to tell you about the food. Few would expect to find the variety of fresh ingredients and the superior overall product in this off-the-radar place. The house specials are good - the recommended pizzas and calzones are excellent - but the available combinations for true foodies allow for some real art to take place in that oven. Looking over the list of ingredients, I decided on a pizza with jerk chicken, spicy Italian sausage, fresh basil and banana peppers. It was amazing all four times I have ordered it. The crust is good without anyone feeling it necessary to shore up something inferior by stuffing it with cheese or trying to make it taste like a pretzel. The crust is a thick enough that one can lift a slice, yet soft enough for a patron to cram an extra-large bite in. The sauces are delicious and I appreciate being able to have a pizza made with regular pizza sauce, marinara, pesto, olive oil, etc. Pretzel twist appetizers are a great way to spend time waiting for the entrees. The staff is friendly, energetic and if ever your glass goes empty, that's your own fault. When the bottle or mug or glass is close to being finished, they are there to find out if they can serve you by bringing you more. Please find this place and try it. You will NOT be disappointed. The one solitary problem I have with Carolina Pizza Company is something I discovered today, to my great dismay: CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. I think that's great policy for a business but it sure made me feel bad about driving back to Atlanta without some savory leftovers for Monday breakfast.

WOW... INSULTED BY THE OWNER!!! Left with my wife crying... THE ABSOLUTE MOST PITIFUL DINING EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Chad, the owner, claimed rather pointedly that we came in on a prior Friday night and banged on the counter and demanded a table... Blah, Blah, Blah... took a table from seated customers.... Blah, Blah, Blah... (This went on for quite a while, with Chad getting in about 90 words to every 10 of mine) Now, I'm an old guy, but a very reasonable one... I have never pounded on a restaurant table with demands in my life. I have had concerns and misunderstandings with people before in my many years of dining... Never an exchange where the owner just refuses to listen... Never an encounter where the owner couldn't say something like "I'm sorry if we had a misunderstanding, you are a great customer, and we will work this out"; etc... Never an exchange where I was not given at least some benefit of the doubt... Perhaps I misunderstood. Maybe Chad was having a bad night. I have eaten there many many dozens of times. I can't think of a way that I will be back, but like I said,I'm a reasonable guy.

My wife says Carolina's is the world's best pizza. And I agree. Order the Thai Steak pizza. Wow. The taste will knock your socks off; the prices won't. My only question is, what is this quirky pizza joint with a sophisticated menu doing in the middle of nowhere? It belongs in NYC or LA. Doesn't matter, people have found it. The parking lot is always full. Enjoy!
